With dedication, discipline, and great teamwork, our basketball team was crowned champion of the Inter-School Games after defeating Colegio Salesiano 48-28, thereby also qualifying for the departmental round.
The British School of Cartagena community experienced a day filled with excitement and pride as our basketball team clinched the championship title, capping off an outstanding performance at the Interscholastic Games.
In the final game, our students demonstrated focus, commitment, and strong teamwork to defeat Colegio Salesiano with a score of 48-28, a result that capped off their efforts throughout the competition.
This great team is formed by Andres Rios, Juan M. Gonzalez, Alejandro Mercado, Andres Carrascal, Andres Moreno, Isaac Acosta, Mateo Roman, Sebastian Nuñez, Elvis Roys, and Alberto Fernandez, who made this championship an achievement to celebrate as a community.
A victory that takes us further
This championship means much more than just a sports result. It reflects the perseverance, discipline, and commitment of our students, as well as the work they do alongside their coaches to continue growing both on and off the court.
With this victory, the CBC team now advances to the departmental round of the Intercollegiate Games, where it will have the opportunity to continue representing our school and take on a new challenge in its athletic journey.
