High School students at the British School of Cartagena are going through a period of personal, academic and social growth. They are curious, exploratory and critical young people, able to face challenges in a reflective way. Through the IB Diploma Programme, they develop skills in critical thinking, independent research and collaborative work. They face a demanding academic environment that pushes them to push boundaries and build a solid knowledge base. They also strengthen their independence, identity and values, preparing them for university and professional challenges.
The teaching methodology of the International Baccalaureate (IB) is based on a pedagogical model centred on enquiry, promoting active, reflective and autonomous learning.
Students are active participants in their education, asking questions, exploring ideas and seeking solutions.
Our students complement their academic training by exploring their passions through sports and co-curricular projects.
