Liliana Medina Rodríguez, current Rector of the British School of Cartagena, has a 7-year career in the institution and more than 23 years of experience in the educational sector. She has a degree in Modern Languages from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, a Specialization in Management of Educational Institutions from the Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar and a Master’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Science of Education from Buffalo University, NY.

Her career at CBC began as Primary School Coordinator, continued as Middle School Coordinator, and later assumed the Rectory.

Liliana is recognized for her proficiency in English and French, as well as for her IB Head of School Certification. Her key competencies include leadership, teamwork, analytical and strategic ability to achieve goals, interpersonal skills, and outstanding organizational and planning skills. Her management focuses on promoting the integral development of the educational community, aligned with institutional values and objectives.
