Frequently asked questions

From 4 months of age in our Little Skills stimulation programme.

Yes, if your child is between K1 and K3, he/she will be able to arrive and leave school at flexible times, according to his/her adaptation time and family needs.

We also have the ‘play and learn’ programme, extended day from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Anillo Vial site, where your children will have the opportunity to be in a space with playful activities, exploration and knowledge. The monthly fee for this programme includes snacks and materials.

Castillogrande Preschool (up to K4): admission at 7:30 a.m. and dismissal at 2:00 p.m. – K5 departure: at 3:00 p.m.
Anillo Vial: pre-school up to K4 entrance from 7:10 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and K5 exit at 3:30 p.m. *between K1 and K3 flexible schedules
Elementary, Middle and High School: from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

In pre-school we have a self contained teacher and a co-teacher. We also have a nanny available to accompany the children in the bathroom.

Yes, we have routes that cover different areas of the city, both for pre-school and for the rest of the academic levels.

It includes snack and lunch, which is designed by a nutritionist taking into account all food groups. In the event that your child has any dietary restrictions, we can make personalised adjustments to their nutritional plan.

At CBC we have a project-based education within the school day. The projects are: dance, ballet, programming, robotics, music, Model United Nations, drama, environmental project, art, chess and magazine.

In sports we have: men’s and women’s football, men’s and women’s volleyball, basketball and taekwondo.

We have a staff of national and international teachers. Seven countries represent our international staff.

Historically, CBC’s methodology is Active Learning. The Highscope curriculum is used by pre-school and the whole school is currently in the process of transitioning to adopt the IB Continuum.

In 11th and 12th grades, all students participate in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. The first group of students to graduate with the IB Diploma was the class of 2021.

We have international camps through the Global Experience area of Redcol. CBC normally attends in the UK and Canada, where students from 7th grade onwards have participated.

With the Better Together programme, Redcol and CBC promote the well-being of families. We have optional insurance policies to safeguard the educational future of students. We have policies: guaranteed education scholarship, secure future programme (unemployment) and risk-free life (serious illness).

We have the Skills by CBC programme, which is the student support centre, made up of professionals specialising in strategic areas of cognitive and behavioural development, such as neuropsychology, psychology, occupational therapy, speech therapy and special education, who use tools to help strengthen the evolutionary processes in children and adolescents.
