With enthusiasm, joy, and high hopes, the British School of Cartagena community returned to the classrooms to begin a new school year full of learning, challenges, and new opportunities to grow together.
The halls of the British School of Cartagena were once again filled with smiles, reunions, and the energy that characterizes our community as the 2026–2027 school year began.. Students, teachers, families, and staff members began a new chapter, filled with excitement about all that lies ahead.
Going back to school means much more than just returning to the classroom. It is about reconnecting with one another, strengthening the bonds that unite us as a community, and opening the door to new experiences that allow each student to discover their talents, develop new skills, and continue forging their own path.
On the first day of school, our students were greeted with a variety of welcome activities designed to support them as they embark on this new beginning. Seeing their friends and teachers again, walking through the school once more, and finding out what this school year has in store were all part of a day full of excitement.
Bigger Together: A New Year to Learn, Grow, and Reach Further
This school year will be guided by a message that captures the essence of our community: Bigger Together. An invitation to recognize that we grow the most when we learn from one another, combine our talents, and move forward with a shared purpose.
The 2026–2027 school year brings new challenges and opportunities to continue strengthening academic excellence, holistic development, and an education with a global perspective. Every student brings something unique to the table, and when we come together as a community, those individual strengths open up even greater possibilities.
Through classrooms, projects, sports, the arts, and various learning environments, we will continue to create experiences that spark curiosity, foster independence, and empower our students to take the lead in their own educational journey.
Bigger Together It also reflects the shared commitment among students, families, teachers, and staff. Because every experience, every achievement, and every challenge takes on special meaning when we build it together.
Welcome Back, CBC
